Red Ribbon Week
Parents/Guardians,
Next week, October 28- November 1st, kicks off Red Ribbon Week, which is a week set aside to bring awareness about being healthy. The National Red Ribbon theme is "Send A Message, Stay Drug Free". The theme is a call to action to speak out in support of smart and responsible choices. It also serves as a reminder about how much we should value our heath, safety, community, and future. To represent their commitment to being safe, healthy, and kind, each student at Upchurch will be signing a red ribbon that will be displayed on the trees in front of the building. There will also be spirit days, which are listed below. We encourage you to speak with your child about Red Ribbon Week and how they can continue to make healthy, responsible choices at school and at home.
