The Harrahill Family is excited to announce we are expecting a baby boy mid September. I am thrilled to share Mrs. Nancy Brosamle, Ed.S., will be filling in as Interim Principal while I am on maternity leave in the fall. Not only is Mrs. Brosamle an experienced principal, but most importantly, she loves children and the profession. Mrs. Brosamle and Mrs. Wunderlich will be a great team!

Mrs. Brosamle was the principal at Rohwer Elementary in Millard Public Schools for eight years prior to retiring in 2016. She has continued to play an active role in education and in the Millard Community. In the 2018-2019 school year, Mrs. Brosamle served as the Interim Principal at Russel Middle School. Last week, Mrs. Brosamle wrapped up another maternity leave Interim Principal position at Wheeler Elementary.

In these unprecedented times, we want you to know that our primary focus is on the safety and security of our students and staff. If there are things we can do to support your family, reach out. Remote learning is about keeping our students connected and providing some continuity of learning. Feedback is our focus, not grades. We know that each family situation is unique and that everyone is doing all they can to participate in the ways that work for their family. We also know that people are curious about how this will look on a report card. Our elementary students at each grade level will get one of the following indicators in reading, writing, and math: exceeds expectations, meets expectations, or needs improvement. There will be no final grades for science, social studies, spelling, art, PE, or music. We are grateful for the support you are providing, and we understand that this is not easy. Please know that grades are not anyone’s primary focus in these times.
