Long term learning target for chemistry
I can apply my understanding of the structure and properties of matter by professionally demonstrating a chemical reaction and explaining how it occurs verbally, visually and in writing.
Magical teleportation thingy for anchor chart!!!
I think the purpose of the anchor chart was to make sure we absorbed the information and did not just do the class and learn the stuff but forget it automatically so I think it helped us know the material better. I got a meets+ for the anchor chart. In the future I want to get a exceeds. Next time I will put down all the information and add more color.
The science quiz was all about chemistry like elements and atoms stuff like that. All the questions were pretty easy, first it asked about atoms like what parts make up an atom, there are electrons, neutrons, and protons. Then they were asking about the element card on the element table, like what is the atomic mass, which is the number of protons and it is shown in the top left corner. Last it asked about valence electrons and bonds, how many valence electrons are in this element, and which bond transfers or takes electrons from another atom. My overall grade was a meets with me getting a 6/6. My goal for the next quizzes or tests is to be prepared because though I got a good grade and knew everything but I did not practice at all and got lucky with the test.
This science quiz was about bonds, changes, and chemical equations. Like what is the definition of an ionic bond and covalent bond, what is physical and chemical change, and last is what parts are in a chemical equation. Over all I got a meets which was the highest grade and I got a 8 out of 8 on the question. In the future I want to remember everything more because I used my notes on this test and without them I would have not gotten a 8 out of 8.
In this test it talked about what's in an atom, what an atom looks like, chemical bonds, exothermic and endothermic reactions, physical and chemical change, electrons, chemical equations, and types of chemical reactions. Over all I got a 35/37 also known as a meets+ I got this because I studied a little bit but not a lot and I got some stuff mixed up, the first question I got wrong was about exothermic and endothermic reactions, I knew what the difference of them was and what they did to the dot but I forgot what they went to. The second question I got wrong was on the types of reactions, combustion does not have its own chemical equation and it looks just second replacement so I put down second replacement twice. For the future I want to study more and memorize everything so I can get a better grade.
This exhibition was all about chemical reactions and how they work. I had the methane whoosh reaction. Over all i got an exceeds on every part except for the poster and I got all this because I worked really hard to find very good information and know everything in and out.
