I interned at the Pet Haus, if you don't know but you probably do the Pet Haus is a pet shop and they sell treats, toys, and food, for both cats, and dogs. I chose this internship because I love animals, but it was not my first choice, my first choice was at the meadow market which is a nice little shop/bakery/diner place and it is right next to where I live and I wanted to do mine there because it is close to where I live and I want to get a job there in the near future and getting an internship there could have gotten me comfortable there and earned me brownie points. I have a couple major take away's, first, I learned that getting to know the people at where you work fast is really great because I got really comfortable there, next I learned how to check people out which will be very useful for the future when I want to get my first job. It did not really impact my future goals really because working at a pet store is not really what I want to do. I think I made an impact because I was really helpful and always on task, also I tried to make people's days better by just being helpful and kind. On my internship presentation I thought I did good, I got a meets and couple things in approaching, one thing was that it was too long, which I can't controll, and I apearred uncomfortable I guess but I was not uncomfortable I just had to take pauses because my stuff was long and hard to remember.
