I learned a lot during this exhibition and I felt very confident in my knowledge. For the exhibition it was hard for the parents to find the clues we gave them and apply them. Overall we all learned a lot.
At the beginning of the egg drop our egg had potential energy. We dropped it and it basically turned potential energy into kinetic energy. As the egg falls it has kinetic energy because kinetic energy is the energy of motion. Then air resistance (drag) is converted into a portion of thermal energy. When making the egg drop we didn’t really consider that the mass and velocity are a big deal when drooping an egg. If the egg is too heavy then the parachute won’t have anything to protect it. It would be good if we just had the egg and nothing else, but if we don’t have anything but the egg, it will have nothing to protect it. It is good to have a balance of weight and protection for the egg. When building our rocket launch we will have to consider the mass because it directly determines the force of impact. If it has too much mass, that makes it heavy and the average velocity picks up and the impact force at the bottom breaks the egg. The best design was the straws on the outside because it was light and the parachute filled up quickly. It also had a slow drop time, which made the impact less harsh.

On the first quiz for science I got an exceeds. On the second one I got a meets, and on the 3rd and final quiz I got another meets.
Science Chemical Theater
I think that I did a great job
I had a good script
Presented well
I did elephant toothpaste
Overall I got a Meets.
Not the best grades in the beginning of science
Been working for the exceeds.
Paid off and got an exceeds
After you make a goal you can achieve it
Dev
I refine after bad grade
Didn't take science that seriously

App
I didn't remember to use anchor chart
Could have gotten meets
I feel better because lots of people got app
The long term learning target is I can apply my understanding of the structure and properties of matter by professionally demonstrating a chemical reaction and explaining how it occurs verbally, visually and in writing.
We are doing anchor charts
A big summary of what we learned over the unit
I did mine on paper
This is a good way to show my work
I got an approaching
I still understand everything we learned for it
We were learning about open and closed systems
Next time I will do extra to get a meets
