ELA: In ELA we have been taking lots of notes for our Silk Road exhibition. We had this exhibition last week and I feel like I did a great job memorizing my script. On the last presentation we did, I didn't need my script nearly as much as I did the first presentation. 

Silk Road exhibition 

I spent a lot of effort and refinement on my Choice board project which helped me get a good grade. I got way better at researching for projects. It helped me understand how to take lots of notes. This is a useful skill for 8th grade, and even high school. 

What I made is a caravanserai. A caravanserai is like a motel, but for the Silk Road. When travelers traveled along the Silk Road, they had to rest somewhere. So the caravanserai is where people stopped to rest for the night before a long day of travel. Many people traded at caravanserais becauses of how many people there were. Caravansaries were usually placed between 19 to 25 miles apart.
