I got a meets minus, and I wasn't happy about it. I thought I should have gotten a meets plus or exceeds. I learned what I did wrong and got regular meets on the Socratic Seminar #2.
The Just Mercy readers log was very helpful for my comprehension skills. It helped me process what was going on in the book. I got a meets on this assignment.
The long term learning target is “ I can demonstrate my knowledge of Early American history, government and civics through a TED Talk-style presentation that analyzes the major political and social changes that affected the definition of citizenship and the rights of citizens, and explain how those changes continue to impact marginalized groups today.” I guess I met this learning target because I got a meets on my TED talk, and I am learning about early American history.

For the mock trial, I think that I did a really good job on being prepared. I had at least 300 words on all of my scripts and presented really well. It is a really good thing to learn about law. I don't see myself becoming a lawyer any time soon, but it is a very useful thing to know how court and law work. At first I didn't understand how it worked but know I have a way better perspective.
