In SFSS, SEC presidents are elected by both students and teachers re-enacting the democratic process. . It was a week-long of campaigning by five potential candidates who aspire to lead and represent the students in Springfield. They went on ZOOM to persuade the school to vote for them. Many had impressive campaign platforms.

The duration of my tenure has been extremely interesting. As President of the SEC, I have had the opportunity to lead my team in a series of school events. Through this SEC journey, I have learnt through the guidance of my wonderful SEC teachers how to improve as a person and a leader. I have had many wonderful experiences here with my team of amazing and wonderful students. I could not have ask for a better experience. Thank you SEC teachers and my fellow SEC members for making my experience in the SEC memorable.
Ushering the new SEC President
Both teachers and students unanimously voted Amanda Chan, Secondary 3F as their new SEC President. The newly elected President said, “I am so happy that I have received the student’s support. I will ensure that the student’s voices will be heard. I hope to work towards that.”
