The Malayan Eggfly butterfly mimics the Crow Butterfly in its appearance for protection against predators.
The butterfly is usually reddish brown on the upperside, with a series of white spots on both wings.
This butterfly displays a unique behaviour . It actually stands guard over the 50 to 100 eggs that she lays on the underside of its host plant.
