Common Mormon Butterfly

                                     Papilio polytes romulus

This is a common species of swallowtail butterfly widely distributed across Asia.

The females of the polytes form mimick the Common Tose, but lacks the red body. 

There is a central white patch and a series of red spots along the margin on the underside of the hindwings.
