It is expected that learners will achieve either a minimum of six credits as a part-time learner or a minimum of 12 credits as a full-time learner. Additionally, learners must complete all courses initiated in a term before the end of that term. Learners receive course pacing guides, support from their faculty, and encouragement from their faculty mentor to stay on track to complete the planned courses for a term.
Learners who do not complete a course within the first term in which it is attempted are given an Incomplete for that course at the end of the term. They may continue their studies as a part-time learner and have until the end of the seventh week of the subsequent term to complete the course.
Term A courses end on December 20. Term B begins on January 5.

They are enrolled in THE 1001 (3 credits) and THE 3001 (3 credits) as two courses that span the fifteen weeks of the term. They also plan to complete MTH 2004 (2 credits), MTH 2005 (2 credits), and EDT 3003 (2 credits) in five weeks each in order to achieve twelve credits by the end of the term.
If they complete THE 1001, THE 3001, MTH 2004, and MTH 2005 but do not complete EDT 3003 by December 20, the final grade for EDT 3003 will be entered as an incomplete.
In Term B, which runs from January 5 through April 25, the learner will be enrolled as a part-time learner. They will be enrolled in THE 1002 and THE 3002. They will need to complete EDT 3003 before a new General Education or Licensure course can be attempted. If they do not complete EDT 3003 by the end of the day on February 23, it will be entered as an F and may impact their financial aid eligibility.
