APPLE learners should work closely with their faculty mentor to review and plan their course of study before the start of each term.
The faculty mentor will register them for the courses they agree to take in a term; learners cannot enroll in classes on their own. Courses will not open for them in D2L Brightspace without their faculty mentor's approval.
While learners can complete more than three courses in a term, no learner will be actively engaged in more than three courses at a time.
Part-time learners are expected to complete a minimum of six (6) credits and no more than eleven (11) credits each term. During their first year of study, they may be able to meet the credit requirements with the CBTE Minor courses.
Their faculty mentor will work with them to determine which additional courses are needed to complete the program plan and which would best fit their study schedule.
Once they have fulfilled the required CBTE Minor courses, their schedule will focus on the flexibly-paced, online asynchronous courses.
Full-time learners are expected to complete a minimum of twelve (12) credits per term. During their first year of study, they may be able to meet half or six (6) of the credit requirements with the CBTE Minor courses.
Their faculty mentor will work with them to determine which additional courses are needed to complete the program plan and which would best fit their study schedule.
Once they have fulfilled the required CBTE Minor courses, their schedule will focus on the flexibly-paced, online asynchronous courses.
