We, at MITE MBA, believe that Management cannot be taught within the four walls of a classroom. While theories of Management definitely have a role to play in the overall scheme of things, one has to experience management to learn it. It has to be experienced and imbibed and not mugged up from books.
During the two years our students are here on the campus we encourage them to form groups and engage in managing group activities, which teaches them how to handle challenging situations. One learns as one goes through these day-to-day experiences, of course, under the guidance of our experienced and highly accomplished faculty members for whom training and moulding students is a passion more than anything else.
Students perform various activities under the banner of many student-led clubs. We have functional clubs like Finance Club, HR Club, Marketing Club, Research Cub and Social Clubs like Eco Club and CSR Club. Students also actively work to organise skill building activities for UG students of the region under several MOUs we have with outside organisations. Apart from this MBA students also take active part in social activities under Youth Red Cross and Unnat Bharath Abhiyan (UBA)
To facilitate this hands-on approach to learning, students become members of various academic clubs such as:
Finance Club: Industry experts in the field of Finance like Auditors, Investment Bankers visit the college to speak to the students about the current affairs related to Finance. Dr. Jayashri Shetty is the faculty coordinator.
HR Club: Activities related to Human Resource Management like HR quiz are regularly held on the campus. Many HR and IR experts from the industry visit the campus to update the students about the latest HR&IR practices. Ms. Verina D’Souza is the faculty coordinator.

Research Club: Research is an integral part of higher education. This club is successful in pursuing research and also getting government-sponsored projects like KSCST since inception. Our faculty member, Mr. K. Abhaya Kumar encourages many students to participate in student research.

Students voluntarily join one or more of these clubs and passionately engage in participating and managing these clubs.
