Interaction  with UG Colleges

MITE-MBA has signed MOUs with over 10 reputed UG Colleges from the region in order to impart Skill Development training to Degree students. The Department conducts regular hands-on training to the students of these colleges on topics like,

Interview Skills

Programming Skills

Aspirants are provided the best of lab facilities available at MITE and are trained by experts on these skills. 

Over a couple of thousand students have been benefited by this exercise and the neighbouring student community is all appreciation for MITE-MBA for this service.  

MITE MBA also interacts with UG colleges in and around DK-Udupi belt even without an MOU. Expert Resource persons from the department have delivered lectures and trained a lot of students of various other degree colleges in the vicinity.

·         26.8.2019:  Prof  Jayadeva Prasad M conducted a training program on presentation skills to SDPTFGC Kateel students at SDPTFGC Kateel.

·         28.08.2019 : MITE, Department of MBA arranged a hands-on training program on Tally ERP 9 to the students of SDPTFGC Kateel at MITE , Moodabidri

·         29.08.2019: Prof Jayadeva Prasad M visited MPM College, Karkala and trained students of BCOM/BBA on Interview facing skills.

·         29.08.2019 : MPM College, Karkala students visited MITE campus and got hands-on training on how to prepare and present Power point presentations effectively, by the faculty of MBA department.

·         04.09.2019 : Prof Jayadeva Prasad M, HOD, MBA and Prof Jayashri Hegde of CS department visited St Mary’s College, Shirva and conducted a training program PHP for their students

·         05-09-2019 : Prof Jayadeva Prasad M and Prof Ajith DMello visited Shri Dhavala College, Moodabidri. Prof Prasad spoke on career opportunities after MBA and Prof Ajith DMello delivered a lecture on job opportunities after graduation.

·         7.1.2020 : Students from Shri Dhavala College visited MITE campus and a hands-on training programme was organised for them  in the area of Presentation and Interview skills by the faculty of MBA Department

·         10.01.2020 : Prof Jayadeva Prasad and Prof Ajith DMello visited SVT College Karkala and delivered a lecture on career opportunities for commerce graduates and on higher education opportunities.

·         11.01.2020 : Prof Jayadeva Prasad and Prof Ajith DMello visited Mahaveera College Moodabidri and delivered a talk on higher education options for commerce graduates.

·         17.01.2020: Prof Jayadeva Prasad M and Prof Varun visited St Mary’s College Shirva for imparting training on Aptitude and Interview facing skills. 

·         22.01.2020 : Students from Mahaveera College Moodabidri visited MITE and got hands on training on Excel and on Presentation skills.

·         24.01.2020 : Students from Shri Dhaval College Moodabidri were imparted hands-on training on Presentation skills by the faculty of MBA Department at MITE.

·         5.02.2020 : Prof Varun K, faculty of MBA department, MITE delivered a talk on  career options for graduates at GFGC Bettampady.

·         06.02.2020 : Prof Varun K delivered a lecture on Career options as well as on Online courses for graduates to the students of Vivekananda College, Puttur.

·         06.03.2020 : Prof K Abhay Kumar delivered a guest lecture on Future and Options to the students of Govinda Dasa College, Suratkal.

·         10.03.2020 : Prof Ajith DMello visited Poorna Prajna College Udupi and delivered a talk on Futures and Options – Derivatives for Hedging.

MOU WITH DEGREE COLLEGES FOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT

The Department of Management (MBA) has successfully made a total of 5Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs)with neighbouring under-graduate colleges with an objective of exchanging knowledge and expertise for the benefit of students. Several workshops were organized for under-graduate students on how well a PowerPoint Presentation can be prepared and presented. More than 600 students were benefited from these workshops.
