Industry Interactions

Corporate interaction and exposure to Industry is an integral part of management education. We at MITE-MBA believe students have to be "industry ready" when they pass out of the institution after 4 semesters. Industry interactions are held regularly to familiarize students with the latest trends in the management world.

Functional leaders and achievers from various corporates visit the campus to share their views, experiences, and also to guide the students. Active participation by students in organizing these events and also listening to the words of wisdom from corporates equip them with the necessary knowledge and skill to face the corporate world with confidence and ease.

Additionally, students are taken out on an Industrial visit atleast once every semester to visit an Industry in and around Mangalore. These visits help them develop a perspective on how management in real world works.

As part of curriculum MBA students undergo Internship programs wherein they spend 4 and 6 weeks on two separate stints; one after the second semester and another after the third semester. Under ORGANISATION STUDY (18MBAOS307) students study the organisation they are attached to and write analytical reports which are later presented in the class. The second stint called PROJECT WORK (18MBAPR407) involves conducting research on a specific problem and writing a thesis on the findings. Its later presented to a panel of external examiners. These two industrial stints have always been te most enjoyable learning experiences of an MBA student at MITE.
