This Classroom Engagement Model Share Site will not be maintained after June 30, 2025 due to the 'retirement' of MNCoE.
One Minnesota CEM implementation team sends an email to all staff after each implementation team meeting, summarizing the discussion, decisions and next steps for their program. Read through this example and consider the "food for thought" for your own implementation team's staff communication plan.
Hi All,
We had another great CEM monthly meeting. Today was more of a reflection on how CEM is being implemented into classrooms, program wide. We started the meeting with a 32 question "road map" to establish where our program is in the CEM process. Overall, we as a team, feel we are doing great and are on the right track. From here we identified areas that need improvement. We came up with the top 6 areas that we feel are most important to work on, but we want all of your input as well. In our next AT and CST meeting you will all be asked to vote on the top 2 priorities that you would like our program to work on.
If you have any questions please check in with your CEM buddy (Buddies are for classrooms, not just for lead teachers). We would like to leave you with our mission statement to remind you what the implementation team's goals are.
"Our implementation team will support all staff to use evidence based practices to increase all children's engagement in learning. Support will include planning for coaching, training, and data collection. We will use data to make decisions, communicate openly with all staff about decisions and processes. We are open to ideas, concerns and feedback. "
We hope you are all having a great week back after the break and let us know if you need anything.
Sincerely,
The CEM Implementation Team
