"The early years of a child’s life are crucial in creating a foundation for life-long learning and success. Opportunities for learning experiences through family and early care and education settings prior to kindergarten increase a child’s ability to exhibit age-appropriate skills and behaviors. We want to promote and improve engagement within the classroom so every child feels success in his/her participation within the classroom setting to further enhance skills necessary for a positive transition to kindergarten."

"This matrix was created based on setting individual goals for those enrolled in the program who are directly in my classroom. It is set it up in a format I felt was easiest to read with a child’s name as well as a goal for each designated area of learning in the classroom."
