2 left: Special Ed and Professional Expectations!!
We use advisory at MC2 to help students set personalized goals, to learn about themselves, and get structure and information. It is more than just a homeroom, though it serves as a home base and a mini-community for all students. Advisories focus on three main areas:
Culture, Community, & Connections
Personalized Pace & academic progress
Self as Learner
We recognize the value in these three areas and consequently award credit for them. Students receive daily, weekly, and quarterly evaluations based for phase checklist items and habit competencies.
