RULES FOR ALL MAZAMAS ACTIVITIES

Do not take drugs or other substances that may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Alcoholic beverages, intoxicants, pets, and firearms are not allowed. Pack out everything you bring in. In case of accident, illness, or incapacity, you must pay your own medical and/or evacuation expenses, whether you authorize them or not.

Harassment Policy

The Mazamas does not condone or tolerate harassment in connection with any of its programs or activities. The Mazamas is committed to maintaining an environment of respect for its members and everyone who participate in our activities, free of harassment of any kind including harassment based on sex, race, national origin, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, or other factors, which do not affect the safety of the participants in Mazamas activities.

This policy applies to actions by any member or participant toward another, including in the capacity of a leader, instructor, volunteer, employee, or officer. Anyone who believes he or she has experienced harassment should report the conduct using the form link below.

Persons who violate this policy may be denied the opportunity to participate in Mazama activities and/or may have their membership status restricted or terminated.

Cancellation Policy

Anyone who in good faith brings forward a complaint of harassment or participates in an investigation will not be retaliated against for bringing the complaint or participating in the investigation. Anyone who believes they are being retaliated against should report such action promptly to the Executive Director or Mazama President.

Do you have anything to share with the BCEP Committee or Leaders but want to share anonymously? Your feedback is encouraged at any step throughout the program or after if you have something you would like to see improved, have concerns around, or wish more resources were provided. Any and all feedback is welcome. Thank you for taking your time to share.
