This college-level course allows students to study the cultural, economic, political, and social developments that have shaped shaped Europe from c. 1450 to the present analyzing texts, visual sources, and other historical evidence and writing essays expressing historical arguments. The course focuses on these historical periods:

1648-1815 | The Enlightenment and the Scientific Revolution
1648-1815 | Conflict and Enlightened Based Revolution
1815-1914 | The Industrial Revolution and its Effects
1815-1914 | Political Developments and Conflicts of the 19th Century
1914-Present | The World Wars and Interim Period
1914-Present | The Cold War and Contemporary Europe
The course will also prepare students to pass the Advanced Placement exam which can reward college credit
