AP Comparative Government

This college-level introductory course allows students to:

• Use a comparative approach to examine the political structures and social challenges within several countries of China, Iran, Mexico, Nigeria, Russia, and the United Kingdom. 

• Cultivate their understanding of comparative government and politics through analysis of data and text-based sources as they explore topics like power and authority and democratization. 

The course will also prepare students to pass the Advanced Placement exam which can reward college credit
