AP Chemistry

The course is an introductory college-level chemistry course. It focuses on: 

• Atomic Structure and Properties

• Molecular and Ionic Compound Structure and Properties

• Intermolecular Forces and Properties

• Chemical Reactions

• Kinetics

• Thermodynamics

• Equilibrium

• Acids and Bases 

• Applications of Thermodynamics

The course will also prepare students to take the respective end of year Advanced Placement exam which will reward college credit if passed.
