The course is an alternative to Probability & Statistics and is an introductory college-level statistics course that introduces students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. It focuses on:
Exploring one and two variable data
Collecting data
Probability, random variables, and probability distributions
Sampling distributions
Inference for categorical and quantitative data
The course will also prepare students to take the respective end of year Advanced Placement exam which will reward college credit if passed.
