Percussion

This course allows students to learn and develop skills with playing a percussion instrument. It also: 

• Allows students to focus on building foundational music techniques, music literacy, listening skills, and aesthetic awareness.

• Allows students to participate in rehearsals which focus on the development of critical listening/aural skills; rudimentary instrumental technique and skills, music literacy, and ensemble skills; and aesthetic musical awareness culminating in periodic public performances.
