Culture Team:
Saying you want to be a better teacher, a better spouse, a better parent, or a better friend is easy. But when presented with an opportunity to actually improve, where does your reaction fall on the continuum above? What does your reaction say about how much you really want to improve, and what impact does your reaction have on those around you?
Placement on the continuum is a choice. This week, the Culture Team challenges you to align your placement on the commitment continuum with your stated desire to improve.
As a reminder: The next Connect Time with time dedicated to R-Factor training is Thursday, February 27th.

THE FULL PICTURE: Raising Teens in an Achievement Driven Culture
Thursday, February 27, 2020, 6:30 PM - Auditorium
Kate Fagan, New York Times Best-Selling Author of What Made Maddy Run, will share how achievement culture affects teens, as well as the need to increase communication on the transition from high school to college. The HOPE squad at MHS wanted to bring Ms.Fagan to share her unique experience and point of view after diving into the life of a ¨perfect¨ All American teen who tragically took her own life. We believe she offers an opportunity to bring education and awareness about mental health to parents and teens alike. This is open to the public but is meant for a mature audience.
