How have significant issues influenced the modern world?
Archaeology (Indiana Jones style), History Mysteries, History meets Hollywood, Heroes and Villains, Vicious Vikings, Blood Sports, Titanic, Games of Thrones, Video Games and History
Outrageous Leaders, Tomb Raiders, Dead Men Tell Tales, Myths and Legends, Ancient Warriors and Warfare, Crime, Law and Punishment, The Man in the Iron Mask.
The course is taught through a mix of group work, project-based learning, teacher-directed learning and ICT.
There is the opportunity to participate in excursions where relevant. Past excursions have included Melbourne, Tasmania and Italy
Most assessments are group assessments, and there are many opportunities for creative responses to tasks including a range of ICT and performative options.
