Juniper Learning Update
Central idea: Our likes and dislikes make us who we are.
Team Juniper have had an exciting few weeks, they have particularly enjoyed their first two PE lessons. Miss Williams and I were so proud of how independent the children were while changing into their PE kits. Superstars!
After reading 'The Lion and The Bird' a keen shared interest was apparent, with the children all talking lots about animals and their pets at home. Kenzie shared with the class that she has a cat and a ferret, Sebbie shared that he LOVES sharks. We decided to draw pictures of our pets to go alongside our family portraits because as Eddie said our 'pets are family' and Tabitha spoke about how animals need 'love'. How kind!
Reminders:
PE is every Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning. If your children have a fitness club on Wednesdays, please ensure that their kit is back in for the Thursdays too! Thank you!
Reading books will be changed every Monday and Thursday, please can the reading folders be brought in on these days ready for a new book. Thank you!
A surprise was waiting for us this week...
Please welcome the new addition to our team, our class bear. Every Friday, whoever receives the 'Principles Award' will have the pleasure of looking after the bear for the weekend. It would be great if you could write down the bears weekend adventures in its book so that we can all speak about this together the following week. I look forward to hearing the children's name suggestions for our team bear next week.
