1Willow     Learning Update

This week in Willow class has been a wonderful week and the children are really showing how settled they have become in Year 1. We have started on our line of inquiry 2 and have produced some wonderful pieces of art and writing. We have enjoyed our outdoor learning with Mr Townsend and last week we made some lovely scents using the leaves, blades of grass and blackberries around us. We have spoken about our families and how these close relationships make us feel, to continue on with our wonderful work we have sketched some lovely family portraits in painted beautiful self portraits. We will be starting one of our core texts next week called Beegu. The children discovered an 'Alien spaceship crash landing' in our school playground. We were all so excited we immediately began to write our very own news article to spread the word!
