This week in Year 2, as part of our Curriculum Unit: Children Around the World, we started looking at the schooling system during the Victorian period. We looked at how children were treated and how they did their learning in schools during the Victorian period and compared it with our schooling system now. We also took a tour around our school and see if there is any evidence for the way that they learnt as our School building is a Victorian School. Have look at what we found in the pictures below.

This week in Year 2 we have been looking at healthy eating in Science. We did some food tasting of healthy food to see what sort of healthy food may be liked and could be implemented into our individual diets. We tasted olives, prunes, carrots and green apples. Green apple was a clear winner and olives were at bottom of the ranking table.
