Here are a couple photos I whipped up using a series of elaborate miniatures.  

These are shot either in nature or with mood lighting. This is because the only background I have is pure black; special lighting, or just not shooting in my setup, are some sneaky ways I’ve found to bypass this issue. Maybe someday I’ll buy a blue piece of paper to use as a neutral background…
