My Favourite Restaurant

I entered the Cactus Club through the large imposing doors, which were simply marvelous. I felt a gust of warm air almost hug me as I crept into the restaurant. I walked over to my rustic, comfy red booth and sat down. I admired the burgundy red Victorian walls that were filled with different patterns that all seemed to fit together. I peered down at my menu and moved my finger across the paper to find the item I was looking for.
After what almost felt like an eternity, I found my favourite item. The Lettuce Chicken Wraps. The most delicious, savoury, crunchy, and flavourful food I have ever eaten. Thai chicken fried with a wonderful spicy batter, wrapped in wintry iceberg lettuce, with crunchy roasted peanuts and spices that give the meal a refreshing taste.
The wraps transform me and teleport me into a different area of the world. The two amazing, creamy, silky sauces, which complement the chicken and lettuce, give the meal an extra kick of spice. Just hearing the name made my mouth feel as if I already was eating them. I spontaneously ordered my delicious delicacy and waited for my feast.
While I was waiting I glanced at the beautiful art that inhabited the wall. Of the art, a portrait of the Mona Lisa struck me. Her green clothing and the painting's drab colours reminded me of the incoming winter. I pondered and stared into her eyes, which never let go of me. It seemed as though wherever I looked I could not stop staring at her.
Eventually, though, my food came and I was overwhelmed with joy. The lettuce wraps' smell blew in my face as they passed right by me and onto the table. Once the lettuce wraps were placed I could not stop myself. I slowly and carefully created my wrap. I took my freezing, snowy lettuce and encased it around my chicken. I poured two equal servings of the delicious spicy, flaming sauces. I closed the wrap together and took a crunchy bite.
I was overwhelmed by the precious flavour of the wraps. The chicken and lettuce blew me away with their refreshing and energizing taste. The sauces whistled on my tongue and fought with the other ingredients for the spotlight. Altogether it was the best, most balanced, juiciest, tastiest dish I had ever tasted. The taste lingered and slept on my tongue throughout the night. It was an amazing feast and an exquisite night.
