Travel Administrator role

Travel Administrators have been appointed in department areas to assist travellers with questions and provide guidance, and support Travel Authorizers.

Be familiar with TravelTracker

TravelTracker (by International SOS) is a tool for Travel Administrators to monitor travellers within their purview. TravelTracker provides a central location for University Travel itineraries and enables Travel Administrators to instantly locate and communicate with travellers.

Assist individuals in their area with travel information

Travellers may ask for:

  • Guidance on how to enter or edit trip information in International SOS MyTrips (see MyTrips Quick Guide).

  • Hotel security information and recommendations.

  • International SOS eLearning destination trainings.

Support Travel Authorizers

Travel Authorizers may ask for any of the following:

  • Current travellers and location of travellers.

  • Itinerary details such as date, flight number, hotel, etc.

  • Active Travel Updates, Medical Alerts and Special Advisories.

  • Reports of eLearning courses and training completed by travellers.
