MacEwan University’s Contractor Management Program establishes the health and safety requirements that Contractors and MacEwan University Representatives must consider during the planning and completion of contracted work at MacEwan University campuses. 

Departments and Faculties that hire Contractors must understand their roles and responsibilities when engaging in contractual relationships and ensure that the appropriate elements of MacEwan’s Contractor Management program are managed throughout the duration of the contractual agreement.

All contractors are required to meet or exceed the Alberta Occupational Health & Safety Act, Regulation and Code requirements, and conduct their activities in accordance with applicable University policies and procedures.
