The student examines historical, legal, ethical, and economic factors, which impact
contemporary nursing practice. Students explore ways nursing professionals can impact
health care delivery and policy, and analyze selected issues relevant to contemporary
nursing. Strategies for transition from the role of student to professional nurse are
Emphasized.
