Course Description

Three hour skills laboratory must be taken concurrently with NRSG 232. Prerequisites:

CHEM 127, BIOL 222/222L (C or better for all), NRSG 225 (B- or better). Prerequisite or corequisite: BIOL223/223L (C or better). Three hour skill laboratory taken concurrently with NRSG 232 (see below NRSG 232 description)

Course Objectives

Students meet the University of Lynchburg outcomes for Education by achieving the course

objectives. The course objectives are derived from the Nursing Program Outcomes (PO), the

AACN BSN Essentials (Essential), ANA Standards, and QSEN Competencies.

1. Students will be able to compare client data to anatomical and physiological

norms across the life cycle.

2. Students will begin to utilize critical thinking to collect and analyze health information.
