Stowe High School
Week in Review

It’s hard to believe we are at the end of our third week of school. Although the schedule is different from what we have experienced before, students have adjusted quickly and things are running smoothly. Our health screening process in the mornings with a new traffic pattern has been efficient and our new bus transportation has also been great. We have lucked out with the weather as well and many teachers are taking advantage of this opportunity and teaching classes outside. Teachers and students are also using the courtyard, shady spots under trees, and benches in the sun to eat lunch. In addition, we are all very appreciative of everyone’s patience and willingness to take the extra time to go from one class to the next following a very specific traffic flow pattern.
Along with classes and lunches happening outside, it’s also been nice to see our student athletes out on the fields practicing and following all the safe and healthy protocols. Now that we have the green light from the Agency of Education, our athletes will be able to start competitions. Although we can move to this next step, we do need to continue to be vigilant with our safe and healthy practices and follow all the guidelines for watching games. Our district’s athletic directors have developed clear protocols for spectators which can be found in our News and Announcements as well as on our new website’s athletics page.
We have really enjoyed having students back in the school and continue to see students smiling eyes as they enter classrooms and engage in their learning.
