Stowe High School

Week in Review

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson

October 2, 2020

Welcome October! We again had a week of beautiful weather that supported our teachers and students with outdoor learning activities and options for eating lunch in different spaces. This weather also brought out an amazing fall foliage backdrop for our first athletic competitions. We hosted girls and boys soccer games and a field hockey game. The students played hard, showed a lot of great teamwork while following all the safe and healthy protocols on and off the field. We are very proud of all of our students. They are doing a fantastic job in classes and outside of school.

We also hosted school photos outside on Thursday and will continue with pictures next week as this morning brought us some inclement weather. We will also host picture make-up days on Tuesday, October 27 and Thursday, October 29. On these two days we will also be inviting students in LSCVA and students that chose a homeschooling option for this school year. Additional information will be sent home soon.

Lastly, we are preparing for fall family-student-teacher conferences. It’s hard to believe that we are half way through our first quarter of school. All conferences will be held virtually on Thursday, October 15th and Friday, October 16th. The exact times are being finalized and more information will be sent out soon.
