Example: Using QR codes, the teacher has students explore the classroom centers to find certain items in the classroom that begins with the letter they are studying. The QR code would take them to a Google Site that would show whether they are wrong or correct.

Participate in a group learning project using digital tools to solve a problem. (3c)
Example:
The students take iPads outside on the playground and find different geometric shapes (cones, cylinders, cubes, rectangular prisms, pyramids, spheres) and photograph them. In the classroom, the teacher will ask the group to show one of their shapes to the class. The group will look through the iPad gallery and find an appropriate image.

Create a collection of artifacts using multiple platforms such as paper, project, presentation, video, or verbal demonstration. (3c)- READING, SOCIAL STUDIES
Example:
Students will use the camera on the iPad to collect information about their family to present during their "Star of the Class" week in the classroom. The student will also need to use paper to draw a picture of their family.
