Example:
The teacher would make contact with another Kindergarten teacher in the different part of the country. The teachers would create a time to “meet” in a Skype session. During the first meeting, the students would ask questions to try to figure out where the other classroom is in the country. After the session, each student would draw a picture or write in a journal on their guess. The next session, the kids would read their guesses to each other. At the end, each teacher will reveal where they are from and some facts about their city and part of the country.

Example:
Instruct the students on the different parts of a prayer. Then, the students will work together to create a collaborative prayer using an iPad. Early in the school year, the students could speak the prayer into a speech-to-text program. Later in the year, the students could type the prayer out on a word processor. The students would either play their prayer for the class or read their prayer to the class.

Example:
Students will work together and collaborate on the creation of an announcement video with the teacher. The teacher will collaborate with the students to create the video and share with the parents.

Example:
Each student will act as the leader of a collaborative project throughout the year. Students will take on other roles when not leading. The "project manager" will be tasked with keeping the team on track, splitting up the work correctly, and submitting the final project.
