Why the Heart?

The human heart has long been a symbol of love. 

It has also symbolized the center of things, such as the heart of a relationship or the heart of a city.

It could also represent the character of a person, such as describing someone as having a good heart. 

Jesus loves us, so a wonderful symbol for Jesus is His Loving Heart.

Next Friday is the Feast of the Sacred Heart. I'll be at Sacred Heart in Newport, VIC, on Thursday, then dashing by plane to be at Sacred Heart in Booval, QLD the next morning for their celebrations.
