We nurture prayer in the faith life of students through
1) Formal prayers and liturgical forms of prayer
2) Engagement in age appropriate prayer experiences - the Rosary, Awareness Examen, Lectio Divina, and the contemplative prayer of Christian Meditation .
3) Christian Meditation - This school promotes this prayer practice in a formal way with an opportunity for every student to meditate after Lunch for an appropriate amount of time. The amount of minutes should aim to reach as close as possible to their chronological age. The correct practice is silent meditation as per

The only exceptions to this expectation are:
1) Those classes who have worked with Sr Margaret Bray or myself to introduce prayer journaling may allocate one or two days each week at the same time to prayer journaling in place of Christian meditation.
2) RFF teachers may need to vary the time when they lead their class through CM.
There are a number of sites that offer a series of short reflections and prayers to nurture your spiritual life.
Loyola Press 3-Minute Retreats 3-Minute Retreats invite you to take a short prayer break right at your computer. Spend some quiet time reflecting on a Scripture passage.
"Knowing that not everyone prays at the same pace, you have control over the pace of the retreat. After each screen, a Continue button will appear. Click it when you are ready to move on. If you are new to online prayer, the basic timing of the screens will guide you through the experience." - From their website

Christian.Art.com daily readings and Visio Divina
"Our mission is simple: Art and Christianity no longer resonate as an inherent, magnificent pairing. Actually it is a feeling that goes both ways: most Christians no longer see Art as being important or even as a relevant way of promoting the faith; and non believers don’t value Christianity as having been at the forefront of the arts throughout the centuries, responsible for creating some of the most magnificent artworks out there. Our offering is simple: one newsletter a day where we simply send you the Gospel reading of the day, alongside a work of art that we believe is poignant, reflective and appropriate to that reading. We offer a short reflection on the artwork and the reading. We simply give you the tools for you to meditate on the daily Gospel alongside a work of art. We are an apostolate within the Roman Catholic Church, based in London." their website
