You will have read in The Leader Bishop Greg's Memorandum outlining changes to Sacrament reception from 2021.

To support you in your planning for this, here is a link to a Scope and Sequence for K-6. This offers one suggested approach and schools are welcome to design their own scope and sequence to suit their context, in consultation with their SEACS EO. 

The key changes are listed below and indicated by the red text in the scope and sequence:

·  Year 3 Confirmation unit: 3.4 Pentecost: The Holy Spirit Gives us Strength (adapted at the school level for Sacramental Preparation)

·  Year 4 First Communion unit: 3.7 Eucharist: Jesus is With Us (swapped from Year 3 and replaced with 4.7 Prayer: Being with God Unit).
