Returning to School Term 2

Starting school in Term 2

Leader:

We remember ANZAC Day; a day when Australians and New Zealanders give thanks to those who protected and still protect our beautiful lands.

As we start this new school Term we ask God to bring peace to our world, and to bring peace and respect to our school and into our classrooms.

Leader: This is what Jesus said about peace. A reading from the Gospel according to John.

Jesus said to his disciples: “Just as my Father has loved me so I have loved you. My command to you is this: love one another, just as I love you.”

All: Praise to You Lord Jesus Christ

Leader: Let us say the Peace Prayer together.

Peace Prayer 

Lord God, You made our beautiful world. You created us to love You and to love one another.

We pray for peace and an end to hatred and cruelty. We promise to respect and care for each other this Term.
