The Poppy Story - Book Animation
An animated version of The Poppy Story book. The book follows the development of the Poppy as a symbol of remembrance from the poem In Flanders Fields, and how the Poppy is used to raise money and help those who need it today. It is aimed at children aged four to eight years old.

In Flanders Fields - This video includes a reading of the poem 'In Flanders Fields' by Lt. Col. John McCrae and the well known excerpt from the poem 'For the Fallen' by Laurence Binyon.
In Flanders Fields - Recited by Leonard Cohen - Images of wounded soldiers/gravesite - Cohen's voice is accompanied by stirring imagery from the First World War.
Remembrance Day Prayer (slideshow) - previously used for whole school - use as is or download a copy and adapt as needed.
