Scenario 3 – Communication about cases (positive or otherwise) of COVID-19 are sought by media or others

The trigger for any communications to media or others, should be whether or not the relevant state/territory Health Authority has spoken publicly about the situation. The rationale behind this recommendation is that COVID-19 is a public health issue, and as such any public comment should first be made by the relevant Health Authority.
