Open Squarespace using Amanda or Joan's e-mail
Click on the drop-down option on top-right beside Joan or Amanda's initials
Click on website under Continental Kosher Butchers
Click Orders and the list of orders will emerge
You will need to refer to sticky note beside the printer to know the latest order number which has been processed. You will need to start processing Squarespace order after that number on sticky note.
Click on the order, and see if it is a pick up or a delivery.
If it is a pickup, it will say that the shipping address of the person is located in Victoria and/or there is a pick up time at the end of the order page.
Sometimes, you may see a sentence saying: "Collect at the back of 155 Glenferrie Road". You may understand this sentence as pick up from the backdoor of our Malvern premise, however you will need to check if the shipping address is in Victoria. If shipping address located in other states (NSW, QLD, or ACT), ignore the "Collect at the back" instruction and classify this order as delivery.
When it is a pickup, print 1 copy and write on top-right as follows: P/UP, (Day/Date), (Time), (Backdoor if requested).
If it a delivery, you will notice that there is no pick up time at end of order page and there is a charge included for shipping and handling fee.
If the shipping address is Victoria, you will need to print only 1 copy and if shipping address is in other states (Interstate), please print 2 copies.
There are two types of delivery: VIC and Interstate (including Geelong). For VIC delivery, you need to know whether the suburb in shipping address is classified as Gary or local delivery. You can refer to the paper attached on the office brown board, to decide whether it is Gary or Local delivery.
If it is Gary delivery, write as follows: OUT, (Day/Date = 1 Day Before Expected Arrival), (GARY)
If it is local delivery, write as follows: OUT, (Day/Date = Date of Expected Arrival)
For Interstate (QLD, NSW, ACT, Geelong) delivery, you need to check the state of shipping address:
QLD (Out Thursday for Delivery on the next Tuesday), every 2 weeks (Check week of delivery with Amanda)
Canberra / ACT (Out Wednesday for Delivery on Friday), every week
NSW (Out Wednesday for Delivery on Thursday), every week
Geelong (Out Tuesday for Delivery on Wednesday)
Once they are all written, put all of those printed orders in a clip. Make sure that it is arranged according to the date (Earliest in front and latest at the back).
If there are 2 copies (for Interstate), put 1 copy on the clip altogether with other printed orders and put another copy on the 'Orders' pigeon hole (beside Amanda).
Update the latest order number processed on stickies beside the printer and cross out the old one.
Helen or Tony will then ask for tomorrow's online orders that you've arranged on the clip.
