1. Get a scrap piece of paper out the pigeon hole, and get a pen.
2. Ask them for their name and write this down at the top of the paper in the middle.
3. Next ask the customer what day they would like their order. Write this down in the top left corner of the page. Make sure you write the day and the date. In the opposite corner get there best contact number, (always make sure you get there phone number even if you know the customer)
If its a delivery you need to also get there address, (number, street, suburb) We do not guarantee a delivery time with any deliveries, however we can make a request.
4. Next start with writing down their order (if your not sure of a product make sure you ask someone) with the quantity required and the product. If there are any specific requests, make sure its written down correctly, and you can also highlight the request if needed.
There are some products that need to be ordered, make sure if you need to order it that you write 'ordered' next to the product on the original copy and then you write on a separate piece of paper the customers name, day and the product and hand to the appropriate person (eg if its a meat cut hand to scott out the back)
5. If they are getting a delivery and don't have an account you need to get there credit card details (card number & expiry)
6. Once the order is complete, if its a pick up you need to place it on the clip above amanda's work station on the appropriate day.
If its a delivery it needs to be written up in the delivery book which lives on the shelves under the cash register, then placed on the appropriate clip.
If a customer rings up on the phone to place an order, first greet the customer over the phone using the "How to the answer the phone" manual. Then follow the same steps as above.
