1. Where an employee, contractor, visitor or other person has a suspected case of COVID-19 and is on your premises immediately isolate the individual (as per Safe Work protocols – refer diagram below)

• Where possible, undertake screening questions (refer Appendix A).

Where a person has a suspected case of COVID-19 and there is concern they may have been on your premises refer step two.

2. Seek immediate advice from State or Territory Public Health advice line on next steps - Refer contact details at Appendix B or here.

3. Advise Dr Mary Wu (Mob: 0458 882 770) at Australian Meat Industry Council (AMIC) of the suspected case. Key information to provide:

• When was the suspected case first reported at your facility and to whom?
• Was the individual isolated?
• Has the State/Territory Public Health Advice line been contacted for advice?
• What was the advice of the Public Health adviser and has this been followed?
• Has any information been shared to indicate the relevant Health Authority will publicly comment about the situation at this stage? - If yes, also refer to Scenario 3.

4. Continue to follow the step by step process outlined in the Safe Work protocols (diagram below) and the advice provided by your State/Territory Public Health advice line.

5. Advise Dr Mary Wu (Mob: 0458 882 770) at AMIC of any change in the situation.
