First step is to have your salad spinner with a piece of paper cut to the size of the inner basket.
Second step I used the three primary colours but you can use any colours you have at home , even food colouring can give a "tye dye " effect! I chose the primary colour with the intention of the children being able to explore making secondary colours . Hmm what happens when you mix red and blue?
Third step is to place the lid on securely and turn the in a circular motion , using words to describe actions, ie turn the knob faster , slower , stop . It takes coordination holding and turning using large and small motor skills , hand eye coordination .
The last step is to discover what happened ? Look at the paint , what colours do you see ? What did the paint do? Big marks , lines are some descriptive words . Let your child continue to explore and discover with the fun activity !

Collect flowers of various shapes and sizes. Dip the flower on the paint and carefully place the flower with the painted side down on the plain paper.
