As a parent, we all want out children to eat healthier.
With a balanced diet in mind, we want to to make sure we include carbohydrate, protein, fruit, vegetables when we pack lunch for school. When we pack lunches for our children, we want to limit packing packaged food as they contain often contain unhealthy levels of added sugar, sodium and fat.
Here is an idea for a quick lunch for school;
Plain Butter Sandwich ( no peanut butter as most of the schools are nut free), Smoked Salmon, Granola balls, blue berries , grapes, sliced pepper, cucumbers and cheese.
